Terry Ashby

I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but unfortunately I have some sad news about a fellow member.

On Tuesday evening, 16th February 2021, at Salisbury Hospital, Terry ‘TC’ Ashby sadly passed away after a heart attack.

I have had a chat with Blacky this evening, who has been the point of contact for Annette, TC’s wife, that by all accounts he passed away peacefully in hospital.

Annette is happy for me to let all his Scrumpy and VSOC friends know the sad news by email/Facebook.

Please though, no contact at this stage, to allow the family to grieve in peace.

There is no information, if any, presently about funeral arrangements, but once Blacky finds out any, I will let you all know.

This news has come as a big shock to us all, as I’m sure you’ll agree. Most of us knew TC, and although he was a bit of a joker, his heart was in the right place and he would do anything for you. A well liked former Scrumpy of the Year and current VSOC Heritage Officer, he will be sorely missed by all.

I’m sure you will all join me in wishing our most heart felt condolences to Annette and their two daughters!

Sad Regards,
Steve
