We, as in Janet/Steve Butterworth, Sally & myself have just spent the night at the Gloucester Hotel to “suss out” the place and to agree with the Management the arrangements for the event…..The location is absolutely fine, with bike parking away from site of the road and local houses in an allocated area to us. Rooms are excellent and nobody will be disappointed with them. Beds are as wide as they are long! Meals are really great with no issues regarding standard of food both for the evening meal or breakfast. There is a Gym, Spa/Solarium area, Squash Court, Swimming Pool which are again excellent. The function Room has its own bar just for us, with doors opening to an external area overlooking the bikes. Function Room will have round tables for up to 12 seats around the outside of the room with a dance floor area in front of where the entertainment will be. We will also eat in there where everyone can eat around the same time (currently about 7pm for evening meals)…. Breakfasts are served between 8-10.30am so no need to get up at the crack of dawn. There will be a “checking in” area once you arrive at the hotel where you will pay your small rally fee (to cover the Entertainment & Rally patch), we will then inform you of your room number, where you will walk opposite us to check in with the hotel staff…. It’s all good and we have found ZERO negatives…
