    I am installing a fog lamp mount bar to my Yamaha Dragstar 250. I have read that I need to connect the lamps to the indicator wires, is this correct?
    Also, if I want to have a switch to turn the lights on and off, what would I need to do this?
    I have seen one Youtube video that showed a relay going to the battery, but I don’t know where or what to get to do this.

    I had exactly the same problem with my XVS dragstar 250. I traced the problem to the clutch cut out switch on the side stand, which was sticking. It dam nearly drained my battery! I literally soaked it in WD40 and worked the side stand with the bike on a lift. After a bit of brushing and cleaning the problem completely went away, and my bike is running 100% again.

    Yamaha Dragstar 250. Could anyone tell me please where I can get a screen for my bike? Also, I would like some engine protection bars. I have seen both on Ebay but they are awful and ugly.

    THE BIKE THAT SAVED MY LIFE
    I found the Yamaha Dragstar 250 on Gumtree, up in Middlesborough. A proper classic bike with no electronics or rider aids, but not very popular amongst modern riders. Most likely because of its size at nearly 7ft long and low power. The bike has a top speed of only 73mph, not that anyone should want to thrash a bike to its limit, except racers of course.
