Ay up ! I am about to take delivery of my second Virago, a 2002 XV535 and have discovered that it does not have a centre stand. Can anyone suggest what type of centre/paddock stand I could use in the garage for storage/maintenance ? Ta much. Tom.

Not heard of a 535 with a centre stand. Side stand works just fine for storage. If you insist on having one I would suggest getting a scissor lift from Machine Mart, but suggest you go there and buy one instead of ordering one online cheap (I did and it turned out to be rubbish and could not get it returned).

Obviously be carefull not to squash the exhaust box underneath.

Sorry for delay , (allergic to tech !).
On centre stand Q. ended up buying front wheel chock stand and backed it up with home-made aluminium (pole) props at rear.
