Hey, I’m looking to fit some heated grips to my 2003 XV535 and have been recommended Oxford premiums – advised to get either the sports or touring – wondered if anyone else on here has experience on fitting heated grips / how easy was fitting (imagining feeding g cables through to the battery is gonna be the tricky bit) any advice/ experience would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sarah,
The most difficult bit for me, when I did my wife’s grips on a Honda Super Magna, was actually getting the old grips off. I had to work quite hard, twisting and pulling, squirting WD40 between the bar and the grip, but eventually go there. Your grips may come off a lot easier. Trailing the wires down the bars and then under the tank, along the frame wasn’t that bad to be honest. While you’re at the battery I would suggest fitting a charger cable if you don’t already have one.
