20 May: Follow Up:
I have replaced the Air Temp Sensor with the stated part number – 5YU-85886-00 – this evening and the error code 22 has gone, but the bike still won’t start. Switched the key on, lights up the dash and needle moves back and forth to rest. Press the start button and engine turns but not firing. No error codes apparent.
Disconnected the battery for 30 minutes as other forums say it helps to reset the ECU, but still got the same result. Now not sure if the fuel pump is priming as not aware of any noise when turning the key to on (I’m partially deaf so not surprising there!!)
Anyone else have any ideas? Could book it into a garage but seems there’s at least 2 or 3 weeks wating list to get booked!!! 🙁 🙁
