Visulahti, Mikkeli / 9-11 June 2023

The 26th International YCC-rally will take place in Finland from June 9th to 11th 2023. The venue is located in Mikkeli at Visulahti Resort in the shore of the beautiful lake Saimaa.

To simplify the process and to reduce international transaction fees, the organisers have asked us to “block-book“ members wishing to attend from the UK.

If you do want to go, could you please let me know by email on vsocvicechair@gmail.com so that I can get an idea of numbers and give out information as I receive it from the organisers. Below is the information I currently have, including rally and accommodation fees.

Many options are available for travel:

If you want to ride you can go through mainland Europe to Latvia and ferry.
Or go to Denmark where various ferry options are available to do a Scandinavian route
Or you can fly direct to Helsinki and hire motorbikes/cars
You can also catch a ferry from Travemunde in Germany direct to Helsinki. These are run by Finlines and go daily

I intend to fly and hire a motorcycle for a week.
I can share any information I have or can travel as a group if numbers allow.

Two-bedroom holiday house with sauna (4+1 persons) €120/ day, €220/ weekend/ house
Three-bedroom holiday house with sauna (6+1 persons) €150/ day, €280/ weekend/ house
Holiday houses include bed linen and towels
Camping cabin 11m2 (4 persons) €50/day
Camping cabin includes blankets and pillows
You can rent bed linen and towels at the reception for 8€ /person if necessary

Mikkeli is located in the Eastern Finland. Ride from Turku harbour is about 370km and 240km from Helsinki. Distance to Tornio is 570km.
