C7 Rally, Please read it’s important if we want this to run smoothly. Friday 22nd August till Monday 25th August.
Following a meeting with the Rugby club there have been some ground rules laid down which we have to follow.
The earliest you can arrive on site is 10am Thursday 21st. Any earlier and you will NOT be allowed on site, there are no exceptions to this rule.
Secure bike parking will be arranged of course but we will have a separate area for those to be judged for awards, please follow the guides instructions on where to site your bike once you have set up your accommodation. If you need assistance look for the purple T shirts.
There will be a bring and buy gazebo for anything bike (or camping) related that you care to bring along. It will not always be manned or secure so please mark anything clearly with name number and price and we will have to rely on biker honesty.
If you have any underlying medical conditions or allergies that may be an issue please bring along a note of them sealed in an envelope with your name and contact details on. These will be securely stored and will only be opened in an emergency. You can have the envelope back at the end of the event, any not collected will be shredded unopened.
We have hard standing only for caravans / motorhomes / campervans, there are no grass areas available other than for tents so awnings will not be practicable.
For those who have requested / booked electric hook ups (they are now all taken) power is limited, do not expect to be able to run cookers, microwaves, heating etc. Lighting and battery charging are about the limit if we do not want to trip the breakers. The outlets are in only one location so please bring any long cables, adapters etc. that you have as it may help. There is an extra charge for EHU of £10 as previously notified.
Riding or driving across, or attempting to pitch a tent on any of the playing surfaces will bring immediate dismissal from the site and may even result in cancellation of the event altogether. The groundkeepers word is law.
There is a motorcycle festival in nearby Swansea on Sunday the 24th from 10:30 till 15:30. We are not arranging a marshalled ride-out to it but you may wish to visit, details will be in the reception gazebo. As a Centre we attended last year and it was good, we even won 2 awards. There is also a cricket match on site on the Sunday at Noon, it is a friendly 6 a side match apparently and the teams have a lot of fun and evening entertainment which we are invited to.
FOOD: The club will be doing pre booked breakfasts and a set evening meal (tokens will be on sale in advance) There will also be the usual burger van and tea tent on site.
